The mission of the Preoperative Anesthesiology Clinic is to prepare the patient for anesthesia. The PAC improves patient care and satisfaction, and reduces cancellations and delays on the day of surgery. The PAC is located within the University Hospital Outpatient Surgery Center and is staffed Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

We recommend discontinuing herbals at least 1 week preop due to the unknown composition of many formulations and the interaction potential with other medications.
